Huminality

For 50 days I asked myself this question during the trials and errors of three different ADHD medications. I recorded the date with three possible answers: “yes”, “no”, “maybe”.  I translated that data onto pill bottle labels, recording the date, medication and answer to the question. The medicine cabinet represents the action of taking medication every morning and not knowing what to expect.

This insight made me aware of how I was feeling and how the medication was affecting me. It showcases the struggles of adjusting to medication, as most of the answers were “no”, followed by “maybe”, and “yes”, My work is born out of frustration and this helps me put into a physical space those struggles.
